I Can Do It…and Your “GPS”

From decades of experience, I know there is absolutely such a thing as stepping out in faith — jumping off a cliff — before you consciously know you can safely land. The power of those few words — I can do it — can instill in your subconscious mind the belief that you can do something — and the creative forces will back you up. Part of my mission is to teach you to understand the creative power of your words so you can experience the magic of “I can do it” turning into a “done deal.”

Here’s my personal experience that first taught me this law…

In my previous life as an event professional, I had booked a Malibu estate for my corporate client’s promotion. When they came to Los Angeles, they said they wanted to do another promotion and asked, “Can you find us a castle in Europe?” Their requirements were extremely specific because their promotions were for children. I had never booked a location outside of the U.S. before, but without skipping a (heart) beat, I said, “Yes, I can do that.”

Then while driving home, I said to myself, “OMG, what am I going to do?”

But I had created and built my events business on prosperity laws and had growing faith and conviction in those laws. I felt that I was “guided” to say I could do it and that the Universe would back me up. So I asked the Universe to find me the right castle. Within minutes my intuition said to post a notice on social media. I posted on two networking forums and received seven responses. One was from a woman I didn’t know who had searched and found Eastnor Castle in England that filled the exact requirements for my client. I booked the castle twice for Campbell Soup’s promotions that earned me thousands of dollars. I also paid a very handsome finder’s fee to the woman who found it for me — and she “happened” to be very much in need of income.

From that time on, whenever I blurt out that I can do something, I know it’s coming from my higher guidance system — my GPS (Guided Prosperity System). The trick is to align yourself with that guidance. If you do, the Universe will always fulfill your claim. And you will stretch yourself more than you could ever imagine.
