Introduction
to Lesson Two
With
Lesson One,
your mind became "fertile" so that you begin to shift your
consciousness and start attracting the prosperity that the Universe it
waiting for you to receive. It also prepares your mind to become open
and receptive to the material taught in Lesson Two.
Lesson Two is a detailed and informative work on Affirmations -
everything you always wanted to know about affirmations and some facts
that are not generally known. It contains everything you need
to know to compose your affirmations and to get results from your
affirmations. There are definite principles that must be applied if
affirmations are going to work. The ten pages have everything you need
to know. Also included are many examples of my own favorite
affirmations, many from the greatest New Thought teachers.
I do not teach about affirmations in the beginning material for reasons
that will follow. In Lesson Two you will learn about the different
types of affirmations, how to compose them, when and how to use them,
and why they would not get results.
Why
Affirmations May Not Work
It is my intuitive guess that
probably 80% or more of the people who use affirmations do not get
results. And I will explain why…
If there is a mindset or pattern of
lack established in the subconscious mind and you were to apply the
types of affirmations that are generally recommended, here is what
happens:
Let’s say your subconscious mind has
an established pattern of
lack. You might use an affirmation such as “I am wealthy”
or “I am prosperous.”
Do you know what happens? Your subconscious knows you are lying and
resists, your entire being feels like you are lying, you look around at
appearances and you say, "Yeah, right. Who am I kidding?" So now, what
are you thinking about? What are you focused on? YOU ARE NOW FOCUSED
MORE ON LACK! And because you are now focused on lack, circumstances
will be perpetuated or may even get worse. It reminds me of “Don’t
think of a white elephant!”
You have learned that the subconscious mind does not like change (you
also know that from trying to break a habit). That part of the mind
does not reason, it just accepts input as an order. Once it accepts a
thought pattern, it will resist any effort to change it. So the answer
lies in not creating an argument or resistance in the subconscious mind.
In Lesson One of my program, I taught you techniques that GENTLY
persuade the subconscious to shift and accept the new prosperous idea,
without creating resistance. I call this friendly persuasion. That is
the key - creating the shift without creating resistance. The
affirmation that is used in Lesson One and the one in the Follow-Up to
Lesson One are those that I specially composed to speed the progress of
the shift. They are not common affirmations. They are worded
specifically to "till" the soil of the subconscious and prepare it for
the planting and acceptance of more specific prosperity seed
thoughts.
Until the work from Lesson One is
done, the mind is not ready to apply the information in Lesson Two. And
yet you may have already experienced yourself and have read about how
so many of my students get wonderful results from the first lesson, so
it is obvious that the initial work is powerful.

Mental and Spiritual Toolbox
Most students achieve an initial
breakthrough with Lesson One. Some
students need a bit more nurturing and will create more substantial
results with Lesson Two. One does not learn a prosperity lesson and put
it aside for the next one. We advance with each lesson and continue to
gather and use ALL of the material we have learned. We create a mental
and spiritual “toolbox” with a variety of tools that we may access and
use as we are guided to do at any time. I still use the same techniques
I used decades ago. Prosperity techniques are like old friends that are
always there to support you whenever you need them. They are your
lifeline to a better and more fulfilling life.
