Progression Not Recession!
How to Thrive in Any Economy
For the past few years, I've been telling my audiences that you have to forget the "R" word,
focus on "progression" and not buy into mass mind thinking and media
rhetoric about the economy. Not if you want prosperity to knock at your

here to impact you with the truth of your being. Each of us has the
innate ability to achieve victory no matter what is occurring in the
outer world and despite popular opinion. All we need to do is to
acquire wisdom and knowledge and apply it to prove this. Time for a
reminder. Reinforcement is valuable and the key to prosperity
The first and most powerful thing you can do to become victorious during a downturn economy is....
Eliminate the word "recession" entirely from your vocabulary!
right. Stop saying it. Stop writing it. Stop feeding that message to
your subconscious mind, which will only interpret it as an order. Stop
mimicking mass mind thinking and media conversation.
the "R" word. Stop referring to a "recession." Accept that there is no
recession in your world. There is only progression in your life and in
your business. Keep that thought firmly planted in your mind no matter
what is happening in the outside world.
Who is the
creative authority in your life? The mass mind? The media? Or is it the
most powerful creative force in the Universe that responds to your
words, thoughts and feelings? (Choose one - right now)
of my favorite quotes is, "One with God (the Universe) is a majority."
Well, you are a progressive majority of one - with the great Mind of
Even with the best of our efforts and
intentions, there will always be situations that emerge that are beyond
our control. Being beyond our control and remaining beyond our control
are two different scenarios, as you are about to discover. Ultimately
it depends upon where we will direct our focus. We have to choose
whether we will align ourselves with mass mind thinking or take the
path less traveled on our prosperity journey.
have heard me speak about prosperity principles for some time now. And
you probably agree with the principles I teach. But the question
is...what you are doing about it now?
Are you aligning
yourself with the fear and mass mind thinking that is out there?
Somewhere deep down you know that doesn't serve us. Franklin Roosevelt
said, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." When we make the
shift away from fear, then what is "out there" cannot influence us - or
Your prosperity is not dependent on the current
economic climate and this can actually be a time of opportunity - a
time to create your dreams and prosper in a way that is better than
ever before. The great Intelligence of the Universe knows exactly how
to guide you to prosper in ANY economy.
We Need to Eliminate That "S" Word, Too...
I'd like to discuss another one of those culprit words - one of those
insidious words that becomes lodged in the subconscious and keeps us
from expressing who and what we really are...
creating Feel Free to Prosper, a lot of my written material has been
triggered by comments I see on social media forums. I am grateful for
this because my desire to help others has triggered my most valuable
insights to surface.
One day a woman expressed that she
felt that her struggles are making her a better person. If you have a
similar belief about your life circumstances, please pay close
I do not believe that your struggles are
empowering you to be a better person. I believe somewhere along the
line that specific belief was instilled in your mind and it may have
become an excuse for not overcoming the 'struggle' mentality. Yes, it's
a mentality. When someone calls me to inquire about my programs or
mentoring, I can recognize their subconscious mindset within minutes
into our conversation - and why they are not moving forward in the way
they want. This is revealed by the words that spring up repeatedly in
the conversation - words that they are usually not aware they are
One of the most common culprits is the word struggle.
I don't see any real need for that word. I think it should be
eliminated from our vocabulary - especially if we intend to grow a
We were not brought into this
life to struggle. Really. Well, maybe making our entrance from the womb
wasn't a piece of cake, but we were not given a stage pass into this
life so that we can struggle to be a better person.
We Are Here to Discover Who and What We Really Are
you know what the purpose of your struggle is? The purpose is for you
to become aware of the laws that govern your existence so that you will
break through that consciousness and shine your light. It's a wake-up
call. It is a sign that you are not aligned with your true purpose and
your natural inheritance from the source of all good - and that it's
time to change your situation and learn to receive what is rightfully
It is our soul revealing to us the mirror of our
consciousness so that we will take the action to create a new
reflection. It is our spirit telling us to come up higher, that there
is more to life than that "S" word.
I will share something personal...
used to kick and scream and rail against struggle. Or rationalize it. I
went through so much to learn how to accept and receive. But one of the
enlightening moments in my life was when I realized that human beings
feel they have to suffer and feel pain before they can receive their
answers. We don't understand that it is our right to receive by what we
I am so grateful for the moments when I
finally got it. I "got" that I didn't have to kick and scream or do
anything at all to make something happen or become better. I could just
relax and trust and my answers would come, often at the speed of light.
Wow . . . I didn't have to pay for it by struggling. What a concept!
Although struggle can be a part of growth and
enlightenment, we will only continue to experience it until we realize
that it is no longer necessary. We can come above those 'growing pains'
so to speak.
Struggle may deepen our compassion and
empathy - I have no doubt about that because it worked that way for me.
However, we do not need to hang on to it. Once we learn to connect with
our Source and receive our good, we can release struggle entirely and
use our understanding to help others if we so choose.
By the way, I am not just referring specifically to struggle in financial situations. This can apply to all areas of life.
you love scriptures, here is one that beautifully addresses the
topic, then my favrorite words of a great American poet who had
her own unique 'spin' on this concept:
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
— Matthew 6:25-34
Consider the lilies is the only commandment I ever obeyed.
